Traffic Management:
This Task Force presented their report to Surrey City Council in 2004. The focus was on traffic calming & management, as the biggest problem in the area is speed, not volume. Traffic Management development work update for the Village. These are City of Surrey's conceptual renderings of the plans for the Village intersecting at 16th Ave. & 128th Street management and the now completed blind corner at 130th St. and Marine Drive. This initiative is organized and supported by the Surrey Citizens for Aircraft Noise Solutions (SCAANS).

Transit

The OPCA has a continuing interest Transit issues as they effect the Ocean Park Bus connections to urban Vancouver, in particular the 351 routes. This link will take you to the Translink main page & along with bus route updates you can check out the current 351 schedules.

Kwomais Point Park latest developments since Sept. 10th 2007:
The OPCA has taken an active interest in the evolution of this purchase of this United Church site by the City of Surrey for the purposes of park development. To view some of the background & updates on this exciting purchase and current developments Link here.

Community Safety & Crime Prevention:
This task force is currently dormant but a Crime Prevention Evening was held in 2008 and considerable interest in the matter was evident. If you are interested in volunteering for this project or this task force please let us know Call the Hall @ 604.538.2460.
